"Lachance
takes the Green for 2008 Season"
The season opener this past weekend at Wiscasset Raceway,
Chuck
went on to win the heat race, to start on the pole for the start of
the 2008 race season. Leading the first half of the race a
when a he started to slide back a few positions, to finish the race
in 4th place.

Banknorth 250"
The 33rd annual Banknorth 250 driving the at Oxford Plains
Speedway Chuck qualified by winning the 3rd
and final Consi. heat. This years starting grid also contained 4
drivers from the Nextel Cup. JJ Yeley driving for Whorff Motorsports,
Denny Hamlin driving for King Motorsports, Kyle Busch returning to
drive for the number 5 for SP2, and Maine own Ricky Craven the
winner of the 1991 Banknorth 250 the number 25 sponsored by VIP for
Johnny Clark Motorsports. The 38 involved in a wreck midway
through the race, ended up finishing 16th.

UNITY (Nov 8):
Chuck Lachance of Cushing has been racing for many years and his success on the track continued this season.
Lachance and his LAst CHANCE racing team of Adam Lachance, Lucas Benner, Caleb Lachance and Terry Downes have
been competing on the Pro All Stars Series, a Pro Stock touring series that races in New England and Eastern Canada.

Starting
the race outside the top 10. Chuck raced up into the top 10.
The track quickly turned into a crash fest with caution after
caution. The 38 car was able to avoid all the major wrecks on the
track. Chuck made it up to third place and slip back to 4th.
when he disappeared off the track. The ignition wire had come
off. With all the Malay going happening on the track, the LAst
Chance Team decide to call it a night. Johnny Clark, who was
one of four cars still left on the track, won the race.

Memorial Scholarship Fund Raiser Chuck
Lachance along with Fullers Chevrolet help raise
money by displaying the "LAst Chance #38 Race
Car" along with the #29 race car of Winston Cup
Driver, Kevin Harvick. Both Cars will be on
display at Fullers in Rockport, ME. this Weds
& Thurs.
